 茅ヶ崎、平塚ラグビースクールの皆様、暑さの中、連日のイベント参加お疲れ様でし た。 各学年とも、勝敗にかかわりなくナイスゲームでした。 私は３年生の笛を吹いたのですが、主力を４年にとられたにもかかわらず、 タックルが良く、伯仲した好ゲームでした。 中学１年はチームを結成して最初の試合を行いました。 第１試合対中学選抜は０－０の引き分け、第２試合対藤沢は２ゴール差であった。 メンバーの半分近くはラグビーを始めて４ヶ月～３週間の新人だったにもかかわら ず、予想を上回る互角以上の試合ができたことに物凄く感動しました。 理由をつければ ①最強軍団だったメンバー全員が活躍した。 ②新人が「しおさい公園」でよい指導を受け、実戦に間に合った。 ですが、その時私には奇跡が目の前で起こっているように感じられました。 中学の部発足に当たって、メンバーが集まるか否かずいぶん心配したが、 新人が５人も入ってくれたこと。 毎日曜しおさい公園に大勢のコーチが集って、良い練習をしてくれたこと。 それ自体が奇跡に思えます。 新人達に試合後の感想を聞いたら、「楽しかった」「やって良かった」の答えが 返ってきた。これからもっと生徒が増える予感がします。 これで中学部の基礎が固まったと感じました。 いつもしおさい公園で指導していただいているコーチの皆様、ほんとうに有難うござ います。 ２００５年７月１７日は歴史的な１日となりました。 ７月１８日 大島 |

中学部の初試合、子供たちにとってはほろ苦いデビューだったようです。しかし、体も心も回復力が早いのがあの年代の特権ですね。翌日は、「小池徹平くんと仲間たち」の「仲間」としてビーチ2試合＆海水浴に興じていました。Beijingさん、さんざんご面倒をおかけした現5年生、藤沢RSになかなかの内容で勝利しました。体は相変わらず小さいのですが、頑張っています。秋をお楽しみに。 |
